The covered walking bridge is intended to allow visitors access to buildings that will be located on both sides of the ditch. It was patterned after an early design and the covered bridge measures 8 feet wide and 24 feet long. It has a red cedar shingle roof and the original shiplap siding that was removed from the Octagon Barn when it was restored.
